Champion Country Chicks Man Arrives at Delta Equine Center

VINTON, LA—OCTOBER 27, 2014—Rafter SM Ranch's champion and grade 1 sire Country Chicks Man arrived at Delta Equine Center Friday (Oct. 24) in preparation for the 2015 breeding season. His fee has been set at $2,500.

The champion son of Chicks Beduino has sired 129 winners, 15 stakes winners and 19 stakes placed in five crops to race. They have earned more than $4.2 million and have average earnings per starter of more than $20,600.

Hls top performers include Black Gold Futurity Championship(RG3) winner Sumokin SI 103 (4 wins to 3, $307,315); Heritage Place Futurity(G1) runner-up Knuckles O Toole SI 112 (5 wins at 2, $245,795); 2-time Sam Houston Challenge Championship(G1) winner Kool Country Man SI 105 (8 wins to 6, 2014, $210,642); Iowa Double Gold Futurity(RG3) winner Katillac Man SI 106 ($201,800); Alex Picov Memorial Championship winner Country Boy Deluxe SI 103 (9 wins to 5, 2014, $145,426); Black Gold Futurity Championship(RG3) winner Specialscountrychick SI 107 (5 wins to 4, $135,486); Shanachee SI 98 (7 wins to 5, $124,208), etc.

The 2006 AQHA Racing Champion Aged Stallion, Country Chicks Man won or placed in 24 of 38 career starts earning $736,793. His wins included the Refrigerator Handicap(G1), Sooner State Stakes(G1)-three times, Eastex Handicap(G3)-twice, Remington Park Invitational Championship and Leo Stakes.

His dam is the blue hen mare Country Zevi, by Zevi(TB), dam of nine ROM, one champion and four stakes winners including Eyesa Country Miss ($312,810), SM Country Cowboy ($144,226), Little Country Miss ($106,475) and stakes-placed Sm Country Miss ($60,090). She is also the dam of stakes-placed and leading Paint sire Country Quick Dash ($61,633).
