BREAUX BRIDGE, LA–NOVEMBER 9, 201—Robicheaux Ranch is pleased to announce the addition of Five Bar Cartel to their stellar stallion lineup for the 2015 introductory fee of $4,500. Call for early booking considerations.

Five Bar Cartel is quite possibly one of the most successful young stallions to ever come to Louisiana to stand fresh from the racetrack,” said ranch manager Ryan Robicheaux. “Our phones have already been busy with breeding inquiries for this Champion colt. His outcross pedigree is highly sought after and we look forward to launching his successful stallion career and making his home at Robicheaux Ranch.”

The son of Corona Cartel out of the Grade 1 winning Dash Ta Fame mare, Five Bar Molly is one of very few horses to qualify for three million dollar races in 2013, winning five of seven starts including the $1,071,000 Ed Burke Million Futurity-G1.

He was a finalist in the $1,044,700 Golden State Million-G1 and $1,989,525 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1, all the while securing his title as AQHA Champion Two-Year-Old Colt. In Champion style, Five Bar Cartel was second in this year’s $1,920,887 All American Derby-G1 and is currently qualified to the $972,000 Los Alamitos Super Derby-G1. This stallion’s current earnings sit at $1,004,418.

Five Bar Cartel’s dam, Five Bar Molly (Dash Ta Fame - Five Bar Ebony, by Streakin Dash) was a hard-knocking stakes horse, with wins at two, three, four and a stretch in Mexico match racing under the name “La Vispa” until returning to retire at Los Alamitos in 2007 with wins in the Miss Princess Handicap-G3 and the Vessels Maturity-G1 at the age of nine. She is also the dam of Grade 1 runners Freedom Choice, $281,423, Mollys Cartel, $150,163 and Fly Bar Special, $110,787.
