Delta Downs' Cancels Wednesday Night Card

Delta Downs has cancelled Wednesday's race card due to severe weather, heavy rain and lightning in the area.

VINTON, LA–MAY 10, 2023–Delta Downs official announced earlier their race card scheduled for tonight (May10), has been canceled due to severe weather, heavy rain and lightning in the area.

Racing officials said in the interest of safety for the horses and horsemen involved they have decided to call off their eight-race card tonight.

Thursday's (May 11) eight-race card will get underway at 6:10 pm (CDT).
