LQHBA Announces 2026 Board of Directors, Welcomes Three New Members

ALEXANDRIA, LA–APRIL 27, 2026–The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association announced its 2026 Board of Directors and Officers during the Annual Awards Banquet and General Membership Meeting held April 18, 2026, at Evangeline Downs with three new members elected to three-year terms.
Donald Aymond (Central District), Jerry L. Deville Jr. (Southeast District), and Gyth Rigdon (Southwest District) join the board, each bringing different areas of experience to the association.
Aymond has been involved in the Quarter Horse industry for more than 40 years as an owner, trainer, and breeder, with experience across racing and stallion operations.
Deville brings nearly 30 years of business experience along with a longstanding connection to Quarter Horse racing, with a focus on operations, financial oversight, and industry accountability.
Rigdon co-manages Rigdon Racing Stables, overseeing a program that includes racing, breeding, and developing performance horses. In addition to his work in racing, he has built business ventures in real estate and development and gained national recognition through his music career, giving him a broader platform and perspective.
