Tm Evening Dancer Bests Ss Classyjess In Louisiana Downs' Feature Allowance


Tm Evening Dancer, under jockey Ubaldo Luna, easily won the a $15,000 feature allowance Tuesday afternoon at Louisiana Downs.

BOSSIER CITY, LA—FEBRUARY 1, 2022—Tm Evening Dancer, a stakes-placed daughter of leading fourth-crop sire Apollitical Blood, dominated a short field in the $15,000 feature allowance Tuesday afternoon at Louisiana Downs.

Tm Evening Dancer edged clear of the field under a hand ride by jockey Ubaldo Luna, wining the 330 yard race for 3-year-old & up by 1-˝ lengths. The 4-year-old Louisiana-bred filly completed the task in :16.873 seconds, a 96 speed index into a 12 mph headwind.

Coming off a third-place effort in the $153,360 Evangeline Downs Derby in her last start December 30th, Tm Evening Dancer is trained by John Foutch and owned by Rosendo Valdez.

Two The Max Investments LLC bred Tm Evening Dancer from the Royal Quick Dash mare Backs To The Wall. She has compiled a (14) 5-1-3 record and the $9,000 payday pushed her earnings total to $73,455.

Multiple stakes winner SS Classsyjess finished second to pick up $2,200 for owner Edgar Rosales. Jose Carrizales trains the four-time 2021 stakes winner that has earned $440,056.

Juan Garcia had the riding call aboard the Texas-bred daughter of Rock Solid Jess from the Royal Shake Em mare High Class Broad. Ronnie Stewart and Double S Farm is the breeder.

Winter Brook, under jockey Nestor Duran, was one-length back to earn $1,210 for finishing third. Erika Huitron trains the 6-year-old son of leading sire Apollitical Jess from the First Down Dash mare Christie Jo Dash. Hector Menchaca and Giovanni Menchaca own the gelding bred in Utah by Blane Bateman.

Sapphires Joy V and Miss Good Candy completed the field. Jess B One and One Sweet Venom were scratched.
