Coronas Leaving You Colt Sets Top Time In LAD Schooling Races

Acoronas Toast, under jockey J.L. Martinez was a three-quarter length winner over Mr Dance Pilot in the sixth race and completed the 220 yards in :12.252 seconds to post the fastest time of the day.
Trainer Saul Ramirez saddled the Coronas Leaving You colt for owner Laura Estrella. Gerald Paul Vidrine bred the chestnut half-brother to restricted Grade 3 winner Hesablackmagic and restricted Grade 2-placed Look Of Magic.

The aforementioned Mr Dance Pilot, who finished second in the day's fastest race, recorded the third fastest time of :12.367 seconds for owner La Herradura Racing LLC. Jockey Noe Castaneda rode the $9,200 LQHBA Yearling Sale graduate by Mr Piloto and out of the stakes-placed Furyofthewind mare Imdancinwiththestars for trainer Barbara Alacantara.
The sorrel colt's dam is a half-sister to Grade 1-placed The Printing Press and this is the family of champion First To Flash and former leading Louisiana sire First To Shine. Grant Farms, LLC is the breeder.
Another son of Mr Piloto, First Little Pilot, won Race 7 by a quarter to get the fourth fastest clocking of :12.470. Another Grant Farms, LLC Louisiana-bred, the sorrel filly is also owned by La Herradura Racing LLC and trained by Alacantar. Rolando Cabrera rode the $6,500 LQHBA Sale graduate out First Little Magic, a winning sister to restricted Grade 2 winner Magic Shiney. Barbara Alacantara is the trainer.
Leading sire Jet Black Patriot was the only stallion with more than one race winner, getting Flamin Hot Fortune in Race 1 and Shez Stone Patriot in Race 2.
Other sires with winners were Triple Vodka, Game Patriot, Sir Runaway Dash, Jumpn Chic, Stoli, My First Moon, FDD Going Grand, Kas I Said So and first year sire Highest Fire.
Triple C Racing Stables LLC is the only owner with duel winners on the card, winning Race 4 with Tf Seperatin and Race 8 with Quick To Flirt.
Trainers J. Garrido and S. Ramirez each saddled three winners apiece. Randy Edison led all jockeys with three winners and E. Sanchez, G. Garcia and N. Castaneda each rode two.
