Morning-Line Favorite One Fine V Headlines Grade 2, $305,865 Firecracker Futurity at Delta Downs


One Fine V heads a field of 10 2-year-olds entered back in Saturday's 350-yard, $305,865 Firecracker Futurity (G2) at Delta Downs.

VINTON, LA–JULY 8, 2022–
One Fine V, a daughter of champion One Famous Eagle racing for Jose Maria Garza and Mario H. Vazquez, heads a field of 10 2-year-olds entered back in Saturday's 350-yard, $305,865 Firecracker Futurity (G2) at Delta Downs.

The fastest qualifier from seven trials on June 17, One Fine V was a $17,500 purchase at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City. The filly has earned $145,277 from four starts in Oklahoma and Louisiana, and her record includes a third-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Tres Crystals, in the May 28, $1.112-million Heritage Place Futurity (G1) at Remington Park.

One Fine V drew post 8 and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. for trainer Josue Ponce.
