VINTON, LA—APRIL 25, 2018—TDZ Louisiana Toast, a graded stakes placed son of champion Jess Louisiana Blue, will make his next start in Saturday’s 330-yard Louisiana Breeders’ Laddie Futurity (RG2) trials at Delta Downs.

Due to the large number of trials, 15, post time for the first race has been moved up to 4:30 p.m. (CDT). The last heat is scheduled to go off at 10:20.

TDZ Louisiana Toast will be making his first start since March 17, when the gelding ran second, a neck behind winner Guidry Pride II, in the 300-yard, $310,000 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) for state-bred juveniles at Louisiana Downs. TDZ Louisiana Toast has earned $56,980 from two outs.

TDZ Louisiana Toast drew post 6 and will be ridden by Luis Vivanco for trainer Miguel Rodriguez in the 10th trial.

Dale Rogers’ Igottarampage, a homebred Whathaveigottado gelding trained by Josue Huitron, drew post 4 and will be ridden by Guadalupe Lucio Jr. in the eighth trial. Igottarampage is coming off of a fifth-place finish, one length behind Guidry Pride II, in the Mardi Gras Futurity.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the May 19, $75,000-added Louisiana Breeders’ Laddie Futurity final.
