NEW ORLEANS, LA—AUGUST 15, 2016—A total of 115 state-bred juveniles has been entered in Wednesday’s 350-yard Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders’ Association Sale Futurity (RG1) trials at Fair Grounds Racecourse.

Rdd Lajollanfastdash, a graded stakes winning son of Heza Fast Dash trained by Jose Sanchez for owner Miguel Aguilar, will be ridden by Raul Ramirez Jr. from post 2 in the eighth of 12 trials. A $10,000 purchase at last year’s LQHBA Yearling Sale, the gelding has earned $149,281 from four outs, and his three wins include a clear 2 1/2-length victory in the 300-yard, $273,000 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) at Louisiana Downs in March.

Mardi Gras Futurity runner-up Gamepatriotdeluxe, a gelded son of Game Patriot racing for Ten For Ten LLC from the barn of trainer Michael Taylor, drew post 7 and will be ridden by Joe Badilla Jr. in the first heat. A maiden, Gamepatriotdeluxe has banked $51,070 from four outs.

The Ten For Ten LLC-Michael Taylor duo will also be represented by Tellem Im Pumped, a graded stakes placed gelding by champion Stoli. Tellem Im Pumped is coming off of a third-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Watergirl B, in the 350-yard, $690,000 Lee Berwick Futurity (RG1) at Delta Downs on July 9.

Tellem Im Pumped drew post 2 and will be ridden by Badilla in the fourth heat.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the September 3, $150,000-added LQHBA Sale Futurity final.
