VINTON, LA—APRIL 20, 2015—Humberto Amaro’s Cartel Arrangement, a stakes winner in Texas during her sophomore campaign, will make the second start of her 4-year-old season in Thursday’s 250-yard, $20,000 Delta Dash Stakes at Delta Downs.

A black daughter of champion Carters Cartel trained by Carlos Saldivar, Cartel Arrangement is coming off of a third-place finish as the 7-5 favorite in the 330-yard, $20,000 Miss Houston Stakes (R) for Texas-bred distaffers at Sam Houston Race Park on April 3. The mare has earned $39,136 from eight outs, and her four wins include a neck victory as the odds-on choice in last year’s $15,000 La Villita Stakes (R) at Retama Park.

Cartel Arrangement drew post 5 and will be ridden by Martin Rubalcava in the Delta Dash.

Other contenders in the eight-horse field include Mon Ti Dash, a 4-year-old First Down Dash stallion owned by Ponderosa Ranch of PC Inc. and MCM Farms LLC and trained by Bobby Martinez.
