Fastest Qualifier Think On It Draws Post 10 for Grade 2, $282,925 West Texas Futurity

SUNLAND PARK, NM–MARCH 29, 2023–Think On It, a bay daughter of Corona Cartel and the fastest qualifier, is one of 10 juveniles entered back in Saturday's 300-yard, $282,925 West Texas Futurity (G2) at Sunland Park.

A $70,000 purchase at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City, Think On It is owned and trained by Jesus M. Soto. The filly made her career debut with a clear two-length victory in the third of 10 West Texas Futurity trials on March 11.

Think On It drew post 10 and will be ridden by Sergio Becerra Jr.

Trainer Eric Valenzuela will send out two finalists, including second-fastest qualifier Lets Leave. A $122,000 yearling buy at last year's Los Alamitos Equine Sale, the sorrel Favorite Cartel colt races for Barron Racing LLC and Empire Racing, and he made his debut with a 1 1/4-length win in the second trial.

Lets Leave drew post 5 and will be ridden by Francisco Calderon.
