Heritage Place Repurchase Fastest In Harrah's Training Races

The nineteen 2-year-olds who competed in Friday's 220-yard training exercises at Louisiana Downs are eligible to enter the March 3 trials for the $250,000-est. Harrah's Entertainment Futurity(G3). The 300-yard final will be contested Wednesday, March 21.

Ridden by jockey Claudio Aguilar, A Dirty Diva completed the 220 yards in :12.391 seconds to score the fastest time. Trainer Trey Ellis saddled the daughter of leading sire Valiant Hero from A Dirty Flick, a grade 3 finalist by leading broodmare sire Feature Me Jess.

Owner/breeder Ty Rampy repurchased the brown filly for $32,000 from the Heritage Place Yearling Sale last September. Her dam, A Dirty Flick, is a half-sister to stakes-placed A Dirty Feature and Los Alamitos Championship(G1) winner Passem Dirty, by Pass 'Em Up (TB) is the second dam.

Going Noble who finished second in the last race to A Dirty Feature, held on to the second fastest clocking of :12.399 seconds. Trainer Lanny saddled with jockey Everado Rodriguez riding.

A home bred for owner Mercy Hinklin Horse Farm, LLC, the colt by second crop sire FDD Going Grand is out A Noble Jess Elie, who was second in the 2013 Grade Harrah's Entertainment Futurity. The second dam is sister to RG3 winner Cash Alliance.

Other sires with race winners on the card were Cartels Cartel and Mr Jess Perry.
