OPELOUSAS, LA--FEBRUARY 13, 2018--Second-crop sire FDD Going Grand will stand the 2018 season at Louisiana Center For Equine Reproduction. His fee will remain $1,500 with consideration.

From a limited number of only four starters in 2017, FDD Going Grand was a top 12 AQHA Racing Leading First-Crop Sire of Money Earners. He is the sire of 3 winners (75%), 1 stakes horse (25%) with average earnings per starter of nearly $12,500.

His top performers include stakes-placed Ancient Of Days SI 104 (winner at 2, $10,747 3rd De Saix Stakes); Valley Junction Futurity finalist The Most High Rules SI 91 (2 wins at 2, $30,135); TQHA Sale Futurity(RG2) finalist Illusively Going SI 97 (placed at 2, $2,722); and Holy Ladies Dynasty SI 85 (winner at 2, $6,391).

Owned by Mercy Hinklin Horse Farm, FDD Going Grand is a Grade 3 multiple stakes winner and track record setting son of world champion sire FDD Dynasty.

A homebred for Hinklin, FDD Going Grand has won or placed 15 of 17 career starts and earned $197,510. He set a new track record while winning the 220-yard Evangeline Downs Dash in :11.530 seconds.

Trained by Kenneth Roberts, Sr., FDD Going Grand also won the Develop A Plan Stakes(G3) and Old South Derby. He was second in the Dash For Cash Futurity(G1), Miss Polly Classic Stakes(RG3), Firecracker Derby and Gentilly Dash Stakes and was a finalist in the Refrigerator Handicap(G1).

FDD Going Grand is by the two-time champion FDD Dynasty. Winner of the Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1) and earner of more than $1.1 million, FDD Dynasty is the sire of back-to-back AQHA Racing World Champion Jessies First Down SI 112 ($1,050,864 to 5) in 2016 and 2017.
