All American Derby Winner Arrives in Louisiana


Apollitical Blood settles into his stall at Robicheaux Ranch, Inc. in anticipation of the 2016 breeding season.

BREAUX BRIDGE, LA—JANUARY 8, 2016—All American Derby(G1) winner Apollitical Blood arrived at Robicheaux Ranch, Inc., near Breaux Bridge, Louisiana this week to begin stud duty.

"We want to thank the breeders for the tremendous response we've had to this horse," Ryan Robicheaux Ranch said Friday morning. "His book his filling fast."

Apollitical Blood, a leading contender for 2015 championship honors, won or placed in nine of 14 career starts while earning $1,519,000. He won the Grade 1 All American Derby and was second in the Grade 1 Golden State Million Futurity.

The son of leading second crop sire Apollitical Jess was also a finalist in the All American Futurity(G1), Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity(G1), Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1) and Texas Classic Derby(G1).
