Live Racing Canceled Monday at Louisiana Downs


Louisiana Downs canceled its seven-race card today due to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in Northeastern Louisiana.

BOSSIER CITY, LA–MARCH 22, 2022–Louisiana Downs canceled its seven- race card today (Monday) due to  heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in the Shreveport area. 

The track is expected to resume its normal schedule on Wednesday (Mar 23) with another seven-race card. First post at 1:00 p.m. (CDT).

An exceptional afternoon of Quarter Horse racing is set for Sunday (Mar. 27) at the Boosier City racetrack. The seven-race card will be highlighted by the first "official" futurity in Louisiana this year, the $382,658 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) (see related story).
