2020 Louisiana Million Futurity(RG1) Preview- Episode 1(VIDEO)


Trainer David Bustamante will saddle fastest qualifier JRS Shiney Tee in Saturday's LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity(RG1) at Evangeline Downs.

On this episode, StallioneSearch.com's Greg Thompson talks with trainer David Bustamante about the fastest qualifier, JRS Shiney Tee, going into the Louisiana Million Futurity(RG1) final. The Kathy Goodale owned gelding will be making his fourth-career start in Saturday's 400-yard event with veteran rider Gilbert Ortiz in the irons.

In 2019, Bustamante was victorious in the LQHBA Sales Futurity(RG1) at the New Orleans Fair Grounds with his trainee, Sir Runaway Cash. He guided the Sir Runaway Dash gelding to three consecutive G1 futurity finals last year; winning the LQHBA Sales Futurity(RG1) with jockey John Hamilton aboard.

Imperial Hint is the track-record holder for 6 furlongs at the historic Saratoga Racecourse in 1:07.92. Imperial Hint is a four-time G1 winner and earned $2,209,055.
