Nominations Close For Upcoming Louisiana Stakes

Nominations for upcoming Louisiana-bred stakes are due in the coming week.

ALEXANDRIA, LA—NOVEMBER 9, 2016—Nominations close Tuesday, November 15th for the 2017 Mardi Gras Futurity to be contested next March for Louisiana-bred 2-year-olds.

Nominations for three races to be contested on the 2016 Louisiana Champions Day card, to be run Saturday, December 10th at the Fair Grounds Race Course, will close on Tuesday, November 22nd.

Louisiana-breds can nominate for one the following race:

$100,000-Guaranteed LA Champions Day Juvenile(RG2)
350 Yards for 2-Year-Olds
$100,000-Guaranteed LA Champions Day Derby(RG3)
400 Yards for 3-Year-Olds
$100,000-Guaranteed LA Champions Day Classic(RG2)
440 Yards for 4-Year-Olds & Up
