VINTON, LA–APRIL 30, 2024–Wednesday's Louisiana Breeders' Lassie Futurity (RG2) trials at Delta Downs have drawn a total of 111 state-bred 2-year-old fillies.

Post time for the first of 12 330-yard heats is set for 4:45 p.m. (CDT). The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the $75,000-added final on May 24.

Lady Coco Piloto, a graded stakes finalist trained by Gilberto Rosales for owners Justin Flores and Juan J. Guzman, drew post 5 and will be ridden by Mario Trujillo in the second heat.

A $7,500 purchase at last year's Louisiana QHBA Yearling Sale, the Mr Piloto filly has earned $13,376 from two outs, and she will be stretching out in distance off of her ninth-place finish, four lengths behind winner Hes Bold As Corona, in the March 30, $459,000 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) at Louisiana Downs.

Triple J Partnership's This Ladys Leaving is coming off of a 10th-place finish in the Mardi Gras Futurity. An $11,000 buy at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale, the sorrel daughter of Coronas Leaving You is trained by Paul Leal.

This Ladys Leaving drew post 3 and will be ridden by Leonardo Rodriguez in the fourth trial.
